The perfect build up to the perfect
Sha-Bang of a calypso
With her back arched like a
Bow and arrow ready to fire
Straight up to the rounded arms
Illuminating the strength in her shoulders
Muscles quickly tensing
Legs shoot in opposite directions
Releasing the sharp arrow
As the audience holds their breath
Stunned by the beauty of a leap.
I sit here collapsed on the couch
Tired from a long day at school
Working non-stop
Hand cramping every few sentences
Striving to pay attention to a teacher
Explaining concepts that I won't ever remember
Keeping that A+ (that I will never have) in mind
Working for a better SAT score
A better college
A better job
A better pay
In the end to sit and collapse into the couch
Gazing outside at the singing birds
Calling a song of happiness
Flying free with the breeze
Twigs on their wings
My palm on the handle
Ready to enter the outside
But then I remember
A nerve in my head
Something that I have been taught so well
To work
To st
Left things are dangerous
More mysterious
And delirious
They are exciting
More revolting
But consequencing
Right things are polite
More right
And bright
They are rewarding
More pleasing
But unexciting
So Ill go straight
Keeping on the path
On the edge of the left and the right

Evanescent Family
I was so young to experience another change
My breath was stale
My throat was choking
My body was froze
My mind was racing
How could this happen again?
Is this real?
Is this what I wanted?
Am I ready for a major modify in my depressing life?
My father next to me, who seemed so strong,
Asked me what I thought
I stared
Worried
Scared
I stuttered trying to uncover the answer
what was a girl supposed to feel?
After she is told she will lose 3 members of her 10 year family
Her house
Her neighborhood
her hated life
I wasn't happy
I wasn't sad
I was unprepared

Under The Glass of a Frame
I am...
I am...
I am...
Who am I?
I am the girl that no one
Will ever fully know
I am a mystery that
Can never be solved
I am short
And feel that way
I can tower over the sky
And never look down
I laugh
And I cry
I am broken
And I am strong
I am set in my way
And easily per swayed
I am not so truthful
And hardly ever lie
I am lovable
And scared to be loved
I am in the crowd
But always separate
I am nice
But you see me as stuck up.
Who am I?
You may never know.
I walked into the quite woods
as a hush came to my ears seeming like a
loud cry. The gloomy trees soar above my
head and the crows stared down at me. I
took another step examining these unusually
depressed woods. I tried to understand
taking my second and third step.
The I came
across the answer.
A large yellow bulldozer.

What meets the eye
I have brown hair
And blue eyes
I am kinda of short
But at least all the guys I meet
Will be taller than me
I love to be loved
I love being crazy and cheesy
I love adventure
I love to laugh and make other people laugh
I believe everyone has someone out there for them
And I believe love i the greatest adventure life will throw at you
I believe in ouija boards
And I believe in angels
I know I have a guardian angel because I don't know how I would
have gotten through life alone
I hate to be shy...
But I am at first
I hate when people are mean
I hate being left out
I wish everyone could get to know me

Seasons of Change
I never thought I would see the day
When spring came
The sun shinning brightly
The Flowers all in bloom
The smell of fresh-cut grass
I never thought I would see the day
When summer came
Children playing and laughing
I can see the sunrise and fall
And be outside until nine o'clock
I never thought I would see the day
When autumn came
The leaves changing colors
Falling to the ground
And the snow ready to fall
I never thought I would see the day
When winter came
The snow covering the ground
Like a crystal white blanket
And the birds have all flown away
I never thought I would see a day
Without change
Remember that time
When we were playing house?
Or that once when we played Lego's?
Well that drive way we would play house on every summer
Now belongs to strangers
And those Lego's are now all lost in the moving boxes
Remember that time
When we made that funny movie?
Or those days that we would play sick dying dead?
Well I haven't watched that movie since
And who knows whose house it's at
and that game we played went through
Sick dying dead and its grave is somewhere
Back at that white house
Remember those times
When your mom and I got in big fights?
Or how my sister would play with you and
You two would purposely leave me o

What do you do when your hero is gone
Lost without a word
Betrayed you to the world
Left you in the teeth of the enemy
Forcing you to face your fears
Making you regret those unsaid words
What do you do when your hero disapeared
Vanished into the morning light
But not before pushing you to the sharks
Left you with yourself
Having only lingering memories
But those are soon to disapear as well.
What do you do when your hero is missing
Taken from you unwillingly
Nobody to protect you now
He left unexpectedly
My father is gone.
And without him my sanity is absent
